Innovative Biofeedback and Applied Psychophysiological Systems Research and Development
The development teams Crane has assembled have produced many technical innovations including, but not limited, to the first commercial computerized, multi-bandwidth, multiplexed EEG biofeedback system, the first computerized compatible biofeedback blood pressure system, the CapScan (combination QEEG and neurofeedback multiple amplifier synchrony training system), the E2 (A3+) personal EEG trainer with blended sound technology, the first clinical grade low cost EMG systems, the first low cost electrodermal instruments.
Introduced open architecture computerized biofeedback systems (the UniComp Series), the first IBM (DOS) compatible system, the first IBM compatible computerized blood pressure system, the first Windows based biofeedback systems, the first microcurrent therapy as an adjunct to biofeedback assisted pain management and addictive behaviors, the first computerized EEG biofeedback synchrony system, the first computerized single channel neurofeedback systems that do all the known Alpha/Theta and SMR/Beta protocols, the first color coded neurofeedback compressed spectral array, the first whole body mapping multiple channel neurofeedback system, the first MacIntosh Biofeedback program, the first computerized multiple station biofeedback systems.
Crane's primary focus is the development of The International MindFitness Foundation which is focused on consciousness research and education. MISSION: To provide highest quality life and performance enhancing learning opportunities worldwide at low cost through integration of rigorous frontier science with practical, classical, accelerated learning principles. Our intention is to continuously apply what we teach to ourselves. VISION: The unfolding of new forms of thinking, greatly increased psychological freedom and changing world views leading to wiser and more compassionate electorates and societies.
Currently developing (through BMIC) innovative clinical open source software systems for neurofeedback and general biofeedback.
Has received FDA pre-market clearance for a new system which will offer greater flexibility, reliability, and ease of operation for biofeedback clinical training for EMG, EEG, temperature, skin conductance, BP, HR and breath retraining. Operated by hand-held computer, it will use small, lightweight, high quality amplifiers for ease of hookup to the patient. Miniaturized, it will be less expensive, and software will be more stable, integrating multimedia capabilities with flexibility and simplicity of operation.
